Day 1: Arrival at Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport and transfer to Hotel Eco Resort

Day 2: Paramaribo City Tour. Breakfast – In the morning Paramaribo Walking City Tour including lunch. The capital of Suriname is Paramaribo. A city, rich of historical wooden buildings. These are since 2002 on the world heritage list of UNESCO. Walk thru the central market, the mosque, the synagogue and other remarkable buildings. The St. Peter and Paulus Basilica the oldest and highest wooden building of the Caribbean you will also visit during this historical excursion.

Day 3: Paramaribo – Nickerie ( 182 km) After breakfast we will depart to Nickerie. We will drive to the West and will drive through difference districts. We will stop in Groningen, Saramaca and Coronie where you can take some pictures and of course the Guide will share the history with you. 1.30 pm we are planning to arrive in Nickerie, where we will have our lunch. After lunch the guide will take you for a tour through Nieuw Nickerie, the capitol of the district. After such a long day drive and a lot of History it is time to check in at the hotel. Evening free

Day 4: Nickerie – South Drain – Georgetown. After an early breakfast we will drive to South Drain (plusm. 35 km). With a Ferry we will cross over the Corantijn river and arrive in Moleson Creek, Guyana. A 105 km drive will lead us to our hotel in Georgetown. We will have a lunch stop at an Indian Restaurant. In the evening we will visit the Sea Wall. This wall is 280-mile and runs along much of Guyana’s coastline, and all of the coastline in the capital city of Georgetown. Finally we will go back to our hotel for a good night rest. But before this ofcourse we will enjoy our dinner.

Day 5: Georgetown City Tour
The Capital city was called Long champs by the French, and Stabroek by the Dutch, but the English settled on the name Georgetown- a name which remains up to today.
Georgetown is a city full of historical monuments, many of them gracious colonial buildings dating back to the 18th and the 19th century. Because of its beauty, its wide tree lined avenues and beautiful architecture, ranging from Gothic to Elizabethan, Georgetown was once described as the ‘Garden City of the Caribbean ‘. We will visit the local market, museum, shopping malls and the Botanical Garden.
In the afternoon we will depart to Splashmins resort. This Resort features a Water Park with lots of fun activities such as peddle boats, jet boat, facilities for cricket, football and basketball and a 1/4 mile long man made sand beach which is washed by a mystical black water lake.

Day 6: Georgetown – Paramaribo
Early in the morning around 5:00 am we will have to say goodbye to Georgetown. On our way back to Moleson Creek we will stop for breakfast and on our way back to Paramaribo we will have a lunch stop

Day 7: Paramaribo – Albina – St. Laurent – Kourou. Early in the Morning we will drive to the East from Paramaribo to Albina (146 km). At Albina, the border of Suriname we will take the Ferry and cross over the Marowijne river to arrive in St. Laurent French Guyana. After immigration we will visit Bagno, the ruins of the prison Founded in 1858, it was formerly the arrival point for prisoners from France, who arrived at the Camp de la Transportation. Papillon (from the Book and Movie PAPILLON, a true story) was a prisoner here, before his transportation to Devil’s Island where he escaped.
After seeing this all we will continue our journey from St. Laurent to Kourou (190 km)
Late in the afternoon we will arrive in our Hotel

Day 8: Kourou – Cayenne. After breakfast – check out. We will visit Space Center and drive through Kourou. From a distance if the weather is good we can spot the 3 island also called the Devil’s Islands
(Illes the Salut, Illes Royale, Illes St. Joseph). We will drive 60 km to reach the capital, Cayenne. Here you will have lunch on your own and next check in to the Hotel. Evening at leisure

Day 9: Cayenne City tour – Paramaribo
After breakfast check out and ready for the Cayenne City tour and visit to the Supermarket GEANT Hypermarket (The French WALLMART). In the afternoon we will have to say goodbye to Cayenne and drive back to Paramaribo. Around 8:00 pm we will arrive in Paramaribo

Day 10: Free to do your last shopping or just relax at the Torarica Pool or in the *Jacuzzi (*reservation required)
